Bill Asprey - has produced thousands of single joke cartoons for newspapers, magazines, greetings cards, calendars, advertising and character merchandising over many years, drawing under the nom-de-plumes Williamson, Leon, Kim, and his own, Bill Asprey. He created and drew the syndicated cartoon strip Aphrodite, the pocket cartoon Sporting Fanny for the Sunday People and a wide range of advertising cartoons, character merchandising art and cartoons for Playboy Publications Inc.
He has been writing and drawing the Love is…cartoons, for the original creator, Kim Casali, under her pen name "Kim" since 1975. He adapted Roald Dahl’s Big Friendly Giant into a colour strip for the UK's best selling national newspaper The Mail on Sunday, drawing it for over 12 years. He created and drew Eco Ellen and Green Gordon for The Environment Agency.
Two new features springing from Bill’s drawing board are Bees featuring Buzzbee and Beebee and Little Louis featuring a loveable Beagle type puppy which has just been licensed to a North American company.
